Le Touessrok Hotel Golf & Spa
The Luxury Resort in Mauritius
Six Twinkling Stars at the Blue Lagoon
Six twinkling stars above the Deluxe Resort Le Touessrok, located at a blue lagoon in the northeast of Mauritius, indicate that a shining star has been added to the golf sky above the Indian Ocean with the Bernhard Langer Course on the Ile aux Cerfs.
The award winning six-star Le Touessrok offers a combination of top-service, first-class style interior design and exquisitely furnished rooms, a tropical climate with sun guaranteed and white dream beaches by the Indian Ocean. Not only a wide range of leisure activities at the tropical beaches, but also manifold bars and restaurants meet individual requirements and the highest luxury standards. Enjoy delicacies in Michelin-starred Safran, offering a modern interpretation of Indian gourmet cuisine, Barlen’s, designed according to Feng-Shui, offering Asian and European cuisine, or in the real must, „398“, the main three-floor restaurant with 8 show-kitchens, offering specialities from 9 European and Asian countries.
Water sports facilities (for example the private Frangipani Island) are plentiful on this island in the middle of the Indian Ocean. All restaurants, guest rooms and suites as well as sports facilities are first-class. Nothing is impossible – and all facilities are at your disposal.
A further highlight is the private Island of Ilot Magenie, a private and exclusive hideaway for Le Touessrok residents accessible by a short water taxi ride
And now to the stunning second private island – the Ile aux Cerfs. This is where German Master Bernhard Langer has created an extraordinary golf course known as one of the most spectacular courses of the southern hemisphere – and rightly so!
The unforgettable golf experience begins by water taxi across the lagoon from the hotel to the Ile aux Cerfs, a small volcanic island that comes very close to the imagination of a tropical paradise with its tropical palms and mangroves. The course was woven into the island’s natural undulating topography, taking into account the tides slipping in and out of the playing areas, making the island available to drives, pitches and putts. A masterpiece has been established in theTropics - unique in every way.
Playing over 6.478 m, par 72, this is the longest course in Mauritius. Bernhard Langer has designed a challenging course with natural hazards such as palms, bushes, mangroves, sand, and water with mainly small greens – but this tropic wonder-of-the-game is always fair. It should, however – also during holidays – be treated with respect. The highest quality of service is also available when golf is concerned. Managed by PGA professional and general manager David Marsh, clubhouse practice facilities and Golf Academy leave nothing to be desired. The Le Touessrok Resort of the Sun-Resorts Group guarantees an unforgettable golf and luxury experience. Bienvenue in paradise – we look forward to welcoming you!
