The Stella di Mare Golf Course Featuring an Aqua-Driving Range

The 18-hole, par 71 Championship golf course offers a unique experience. The course is located by the Red Sea, a links-like course with prevailing winds, which according to Golf Director Josh North “will provide you with an immense challenge”.

The still young, challenging but fair Stella-di Mare-Golf Course was created by one of the world’s famous golf architects, Karl Litten, who a.o. designed the Dreamland Courses near Cairo. Six holes feature water hazards, one of them, hole no. 6, a par 4, features three at a time. Stella di Mare Golf measures 6,550 m by par 72 - truly not a short course. It does, however, feature 4 different tee boxes, which especially help putting the challenge of prevailing winds into perspective. Wide, rolling fairways meander along the Red Sea and feature surprising hazards. You might really need all 14 permitted clubs for a round of golf here that will all be cleaned by friendly caddies.

The Stella di Mare Resort is committed to hospitality and best quality service. Whatever you need, is on offer: an excellent Pro Shop, lockers and changing rooms, caddies, trolleys and buggies. The golf course offers excellent practice facilities including – and how could it be otherwise by the sea – an aqua range, where the balls are shot directly and deliberately into the water – being fished out again later. The Golf Academy offers the same high quality as the rest of the resort – tuition is available in four languages (German, English, Swedish, and Finnish).
